Welcome To ARC

Dear Colleagues,
It is my great pleasure, as Chair of the ARC Software Architecture & Engineering Conference, to welcome you to the United Arab Emirates — a rapidly emerging international hub for GenAI development and deployment.
In software architectures, we stand at the dawn of “the era of AI”. The generative AI stack has introduced a profound discontinuity in service-oriented architectures, accelerating the shift from traditional orchestrations to dynamic, intelligent agentic workflows. These workflows – themselves re-invented and revised by the autonomous agents - empower them to reason, plan, use tools, reflect, and adapt in real time — fundamentally transforming how modern production systems are built and operated.
In today’s post-globalization world, marked by regional conflicts and uncertainty, the thoughtful and responsible deployment of these technologies has never been more vital. We will not replace human architects and engineers; rather, we are entering an era of powerful human-AI collaboration. Agents handle the drudgery and adaptation; humans will provide strategy, judgment, and oversight.
This is precisely the vision of our ARC Conference: the era of AI as one of boundless opportunities — where thoughtful deployment of agentic workflows in a complex world creates more resilient, intelligent production systems than ever before.
The Conference is the ideal forum to explore these architectures in depth. The future belongs to those who master both the traditional foundations and the new agentic layer.
I look forward to our insightful discussions and shared vision. Let us welcome this new era together as one of boundless opportunities and powerful human-AI collaboration.

Architecture
True engineering is defined by the decisions made before a single line of code is written. We explore system structures, critical design trade-offs, and the architectural patterns that enable long-term scalability and resilience.
